We pull back surrounding courses, inspect the underlayment for UV damage and nail holes, replace compromised sections, and weave new CertainTeed Landmark or IKO Cambridge shingles into the existing field. Proper repair, not a patch.

Built-up roofing (BUR) uses 3 or 4 plies of fiberglass felt in hot asphalt with a gravel or cap sheet surface. Oldest proven flat roof system, with 30+ year service life in Iowa. We still install BUR when the application calls for it.

Seams hot-air welded at 900°F+ and tested with a seam probe. Fully adhered systems for wind uplift zones per FM I-90 or I-120. Mechanically attached for re-roofs over existing insulation. NRCA member, trained per manufacturer specifications.
